Becoming a member
Junior membership is available to those under 16 years of age and credit union membership is an excellent way of getting young people into the savings habit. All credit unions are based on a 'common bond'. This means that all members have something in common with each other. Our common bond relates to anyone who lives or works in the county of Conwy can join our Credit Union. If you are within our common bond, joining our Credit Union could not be easier. Simply follow the steps highlighted below. Once accepted, you will be asked to pay a small membership fee of £1.00 and then you can start saving regularly plus take advantage of all the benefits which membership offers.

If you do not live in the county of Conwy but work or study here:
Please make sure you can provide additional documentation:
- Students - A document stating you are studying at an educational establishment in Conwy.
- Volunteers - A document from the organisation stating that you are completing voluntary work in Conwy.
- Employees - A payslip or other document showing your name and the name and address of your employer.
Step 3
Post your application form to us or bring it to our office or one of the collection points with:
- Your two means of identification
- £1 membership fee and
- Your first savings - a minimum of £1

Step 5
Once your application for membership has been approved, you will be issued with a passbook and can start saving immediately and regularly. You can also save through a Standing Order mandate if you have a bank account - download a Standing Order mandate form from the "Download forms" page or click here for your convenience.

Anyone
over 16 years of age can become a full credit union member provided
